Glow in the Dark Tour.... Let the countdown begin... I am so excited for this concert. It's going to be one non-stop party!! It'll be one of the first concerts where I know and enjoy all of the acts performing. I can feel the energy building just writing about it. And don't you worry, I will let you know all of the details of the concert. As soon as I go.

Allergies... I love the warm weather, I really do. But, I really don't like the sneezing, the headaches, the watery & itchy eyes. I am not one to have huge allergy issues, but today it hit me like a brick wall. I don't know if it is because it is windy with a lot of pollen swimming in the air. It's just a little annoying. Even looking at this computer screen is straining. Maybe, I am just tired.

Nielsen's Frozen Custard... There are many things that make warm weather even better. I am sure as the weather continues to rise in temperature, I will take more opportunities to share them with you. One of them is Nielsen's Frozen Custard. I can't eat it often because of price and its richness, but at the times I do, I always enjoy it. AND, with the way the weather has been playing a bit of a roller coaster ride with us, you have to take the opportunities as they come... I even got to wear shorts.

Sprint SERO... About a year ago, I came across a special cell phone plan from Sprint. The prices are too good to be true. The funny thing is, it is true. $30/month gets you:

500 Minutes
Unlimited Texting & PictureMail
Unlimited Web/Data
Sprint TV access
Unlimited Nights/Weekends starting at 7pm

The reason I am posting this is because I spent an hour on the phone with Sprint today trying to get all the details and the plan straight. It works. So, if you're in the market for a cell phone, check it out.

Happy Birthday Molly!... Today is Molly's birthday, and she let everyone know. Her desk was decorated at work and a coworker made homemade cupcakes (don't worry, she's "kind of a professional" at it). Above all else, She had to wear this crown all day long, by order of her mother. Molly is a cool person with great traits. She's funny. She's driven. She's passionate about her interests. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOLLY!

Support Our Troops... I am confused. I keep receiving these "Cell Phone For Soldiers" bags and I am completely miffed as to what they are trying to say. It states that their mission is to "help our troops call home." So wait, the troops can't call home unless we donate old cell phones? You're telling me that our troops are out there fighting and they aren't able to make a phone call to talk to loved ones unless there is an old cell phone to do it? Am I just completely misunderstanding the concept or do we really not support our troops as soon as they get out there? Do we need to send them our leftovers too? I certainly hope they are being fed and that they are able to call home. That's all for now.

Blogger is currently not allowing me to add an image. What a great way to celebrate a blogging milestone. UPDATE: IT LET ME UPLOAD!

100th Post... I have made 100 posts? That's just crazy and it might also be a sign that I have wasted way too much time. I have had fun though. Here's to 100 more!

Wal-Mart SUCKS!!... I am STILL dealing with the problem I blogged about on 2.29.08. It has put me into a bad mood and so, I don't really have anything more to say except WAL-MART SUCKS!!! Do NOT ever purchase anything from Wal-Mart that would require a warranty. I have been dealing with an issue since October 2007.... and still NO resolution. I am telling you it is NOT worth the lower price. The time I have spent dealing with the issue and the time away from using my product have made up for any money I allegedly saved in my original purchase. The only current comfort I get from the current situation is the fact that Wal-Mart has to spend the money on the manpower and shipping charges. Unfortunately, they are too stupid to figure that out.

Amanda Bynes... I attended an odd Birthday party tonight. To be honest, I thought the idea was a little weird, but as most things go, it turned out to be fun. PLUS, I got told how cool I was (everyone did). Amanda Bynes is a pretty cool (from what I know) person. She makes awkward/weirdness look cool and lol hilarious. Beyond being told how cool I was, i got some NOWandLATERS. I haven't had those in a long time. I am looking forward to enjoying them through my day of work tomorrow (Thanks Linzi & Amy).

New Banner/Layout... What do we think of the new banner and layout? As you can tell, I worked real hard on it. It is comprised of newspaper clippings. I know what you're thinking, "you didn't need to tell me that"... Well, in response, you didn't have to read it. Let me know what you think.
PS... Who(m)ever lookbothways is, I already had the Mariah Carey album, Jamba Juice is too expensive, and thanks to TiVo I can balance my TV watching throughout the week. But, I must say your comment made me lol (laugh out loud).

Crazy Utah Weather... Today's weather was fantastic! But, look at what is going to happen tomorrow and for the rest of the week... Why is it that the weather seems to be great during the work week but as soon as the weekend rolls around (when you can actually enjoy it), it's crappy! Looks like we are in for a roller coaster of all types of weather... Lame!

Vegas Trip... I'm back, well actually I returned Thursday evening. I figured I would do a "mega post." Let's start from the beginning. First of all, it's been awhile since I have flown on an airplane, so long, that I seemed to have a tendency to forget my boarding pass. When I arrived at the airport, checked my baggage, I left my ticket at the counter only to realize that baggage claim stickers weren't going to pass for a boarding pass, especially with the TSA. That was only the beginning of my boarding pass issues. I would later leave it on a Delta golf cart, while trying to re-pack some items into my backpack. I arrived in Vegas, it was instantly warmer than Salt Lake, which was a huge welcome.

We arrived at the Wynn with just enough time to check-in and get ready for the night's Welcome/Cocktail get together. I was assigned to the room 3922 on the golf course side. All I can say is "WOW!!" My room was absolutely perfect (floor to ceiling views of a green golf course, electronically controlled drapes, 2 HDTVs, slippers & robe, iPod connections, bedtime chocolates, soaking bubble baths, King bed with deluxe sheets and pillows). The evening's party was filled with laughing at the drunks and trying to decipher what it is that they are trying to say, all while I sip on my Fiji water.

The next day was spent in various trainings from carriers, somehow in it all I got assigned to supervise anything computer related (videos, powerpoints, etc.) In the end, it would be my downfall and a cause for a migraine that evening (I am sure the early morning Red Bull didn't help either). Wednesday was much of the same type of presentations, but they ended earlier and allowed for sometime by the pool, again watching people get drunk. I have to wonder whether or not people learn anything in that state of mind. Well, whatever. I also walked away with as much free stuff I could scrounge around for. I think I get a good 5lbs of chocolate. That evening, I basically botched the award/video presentation, but what can you expect when you get a crash training course a few minutes before it starts. The night was spent around the casino at penny slots, a big spinning wheel, and Blackjack. I am not good at any of them, but they give you free drinks anyway. Don't worry, just Coke for me. Good thing, i got to sleep in on Thursday it was needed and I got to sneak in one more soaking tub before my departure from the Wynn and Las Vegas.

After an enjoyable short flight and picking up 6 Cinnabons (it's the only place you can get them), we were notified that there was a problem with the baggage belts in the Las Vegas airport and our luggage didn't make it on the flight...... ANNOYING!!! We stood in a line for an hour, finally got home, but had to wait till 11:30 to get my bags. That's that.... I am sure I am missing something, but what can you do.

Convention... To my many (few) blog readers: I will be out of town till Thursday. I am on my way to Las Vegas for a work convention. This means, I won't have a scanner and therefore no blogs.

Today's reason for being excited that I am going to Vegas: It's snowing!

American Dreamz... Sorry, I have been absent for a couple of days. I just didn't feel like blogging. I had the strangest dream last night. Me, My sister and a co-worker were students at Degrassi High. All of the student body was very upset because our biggest rival got to pick our class schedules. Well, to make matters worse, the girl they chose to pick our schedules did not have normal eyes, they were made of buttons. Very strange, I know. What was really odd was the fact that no one was frightened by her button eyes. We decided we weren't going to take it anymore. So, we took the schedules she was preparing and put our gum in them and threw them all in the garbage (((we showed her!!))). She started to cry, but couldn't, because her eyes were made of buttons!!

Newspaper... Is the newspaper dying? I used to be a major reader of the newspaper. I haven't stopped keeping myself informed. But, I have changed my habits in the way I get that information. I find myself more and more reading my news online. I love reading from the Google News page. I like to read multiple articles about the same headline, it's always interesting to see how different reporters interpret the same story... or how they seem to always find a way to interject their opinions concerning a story, even though its not the opinion page... I think I'll go read the paper.

Utah Jazz... If you know me, you know that I am not the most avid fan of sports. Truth be told though, I like to pretend like I don't care, but deep down inside when I happen to watch a game that is close till the end, I get nervous and I almost can't watch. I know it's odd. So, I went to the Jazz game tonight. You can tell by the ticket that we were sitting in the sky seats, but it was still very fun. There's a certain energy in an arena that you don't get at home. Plus, we got to sit behind two drunk guys (don't worry they took the train home). But, they were hilarious and if this wasn't a scanning site, I would post videos from my phone of them. Every time Williams did anything, they would yell "MVP!!!!.... D. Williams is MVP..... MVP!!!"

Impulse Purchase (PART II)... I returned the computer today. I had to go to two more stores, listen to a manager complain about another store in vulgar terms, be treated as though I was lying even though I didn't need a reason for a return (because I was within the alloted time anyway), watch another co-worker rip my previous box to shreds so he could compare the serial numbers, hear more profanities, drive from Fort Union to Fashion Place to Valley Fair Mall... all to get a new computer which is what I paid for in the first place...
